This letter is written to you, women from all political parties and political affiliations, including independent candidates in Uganda, and to women across the world who find themselves in similar situations. It is for those daring for the first time, and for those who have been there before. Though it is rooted in Uganda, it belongs to every woman, everywhere, who has dared to contest power and faced loss. It belongs to the collective courage of women who stepped into spaces the system ensures are not meant for them, carrying the weight of generations and the fire of futures yet to be born.
